i can see how there are probably mixed reviews coming in about their work with sarahlloyd. i don't think everyone responds well to brutal honesty, but it's clear that you are coming from a good place, and that too soft of a touch isn't always effective in this work either. 

i took a lot from the training. the one thing that still stands out to me to this day was when she said something along the lines of how this is weighing down on people you care about. i learned that if even one person i care about is being impacted by systemic inequities, i should care enough to make sure the answer is always leading from equity.
